He walked in his home
Holes in the sneakers
Black lips and fingertips
Because he rolled up the refer
Walked into his bedroom
Bumped Hov from his speaker
Pockets empty because a habit
Plus he's controlled by a diva.

The Franklin he let go like the weight of Aretha.
He bought her rings and things
Not to mention the two seater.

That didn't break him.
But now...

He is having a hard life
Full of crimes and drugs
Ironically falls asleep to
"Justify My Thug"
He wakes up to 99 problems
Facing Lucifer
But sadly he just...
Fade(s) To Black.
Not death, but the cousin of it
He's in depression
Feelin like life is cheap
It's not even the night, but he sleeps.

In that state he didn’t hear the music
He felt it
Its great he connects with those that dealt it
Maybe you don’t understand...

He doesn't hear music, he feels it
Got connections with the ones who deal it
He hates the news and their views
All they do is try to appeal it

REALITY

Reality
Once it all became so real he was trying to figure out
Why is Muhammad Ali is fighting aliens on July 4th?
And...
How come Ray Charles was arrested for stealing shrimp?
How Frank Locus was training police and running from them at the same
time.
One time.
One time he got caught up...
One time he got so caught up that he was trying to figure out why
Jeremiah Mercer's wife was singing "its hard out here for a pimp" when she
should be home watching the girls.
IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!!!!
He shouted.

David began to realize he can be whatever he wanted to be.
